I have a evinrude 75hp 3cyl 1982. The top 2 readings are 140# and the bottom is 127-130#.Hard to get the exact reading I'm using a car compression tester(screw in). It goes in 5# jumps. What do you think about the compression. I don't have the dealer spec's. Dealer told me it's ready for a rebuild?. What do you think.Any ideas for the bottom cylinder? The motor runs great. Shakes a little more than I like at low end. Top end runs at 5300rpm.

Sounds fine to me. They are all within 10% of each other. I suspect the dealer is looking for the business and the rebuild would give you piece of mind. Your listed WOT is 5200 (by the book) I would guess you are fine.

Bob
