Am close to buy this engine, but I didnt like the compression test result. - all cyl except 2 and 3 at port side had 120psi. -2 and 3 at port side had 140-145. Could it be some oil film left or carbon buildt-up in 2 and 3 making higher value? The engine has been off the boat for a month, lying on the floor at the port side. Can get this great looking engine to a really good price, because it has an electric fault, but this compression test result make me put the "brake" on a little bit. .

Would really like some opinion from you experts here about the compression result.

first, ya say "2 and 3 on port side"? need ta know cylinder numbers.. they are numbered 2, 4, 6 from top ta bottom, port and 1,3,5 starboard.... was it still layin' down when test was done?.. needs ta be upright and rotated several times before its tested... usually a cylinder showin' that much difference is because tha parts in it are "newer" than tha rest but not being able ta touch tha thing its hard ta say what it may or may not be....one thing it won't be is oil film and/or excess carbon.. jmo.

Cylinder 4 and 6 had the higher value, and yes, engine was still laying down when tested. Engine has no newer parts inside.

The electric fault was suddenly loss off spark on 3 of the cylinders, so I guess either stator fault or one of the switch-boxes "gone".That is easy to find out and not very costly to fix.
The price I can buy it for, is ONLY 6000 Norwegian kroner, that is about 730 dollars.
All instruments and top-mounted remote control included, and engine looks great with no corrosion anywhere, even the bottom yoke with mounting looks like its still new.

This is a object I guess its impossible to loose money on no matter what, or?

need ta get it "upright".. any fuel/oil mixture (usually just oil as tha fuel will evaporate) of any kind will go to tha lowest cylinder/clyinders of tha motor.. that "could" be part of it but no promise!.. jus take this with a grain a salt being ona computer,, actually no-tellin' without eyes on it.....
