Compression test?

Hey all, I have another quick question. If I take a 2004 4.3 carb volvo four winns for a test drive, and it seems to run well, should I still do a compression test on all the cylinders? The only reason I ask this is because I would have to go out and purchase a tester and pull all the plugs. Is it worth it if she is responsive and runs like a champ? Thanks

In the end, it's your call. If the motor doesn't have many hours on it, has had the oil changed frequently and not allowed to overheat, then it is probably good to go.

if you buy it, you'll still have to go out and purchase a tester and pull the plugs to test it.. if, you want to know where you stand anyways...
