I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS CONCERNING COMPRESSION TESTING<br />1)WHEN I DO THE TEST DO I HAVE THE MUFFS AND WATER RUNNING?<br />2)IS IT OK JUST TO PULL THE LANYARD SWITCH TO DIASABLE THE IGNITION SYSTEM, SO I DONT FRY THE CD UNITS OR COILS?<br /> THANKS

Hi,<br /><br />You need to warm up the engine.<br />After the engine is warm up (running w/ the water muffler ...)<br />remove the cable from CD to the coil . Then remove all spark plugs (if not the compression number will be lower), then use the compressor measurement tool to test for each cylinder. For consistent test condition, try to crank the same amount each time. Some sugests only four cranks, others sugested crank until you get the max compression number.<br /><br />Beachcraft
