Compression ?

I am about to buy a 88 175 mercury and i want to do a compression check on it what should it be ? and what would should WOT rpms be I think I blew up my 150 because I was turing it too high thanks for any info ?

Bassfisher84 <br /><br />Look for the compression to be at least 100 PSI and all cylinders reading within 10% of each other. 5500-5700 RPM's is a good range for your motor.
