I HAVE A 1976 JOHNSON 135HP 4 CLY <br />MY COMPRESSION IS NOT EQUAL IN ALL CLYS<br />2-3-4 ARE 155-#1IS 120 IS THAT A MAJOR PROBLEM<br />I JUST PUT 1 NEW PISTON AND RINGS IN THAT CYL AND RAN FOR 10 MINUTES PLEASE HELP<br />BOB OGLE@AOL.COM

Run through the "break in procedure" then check compression again to give new rings a chance to seat.

If you have to know you can try spraying the cylinder walls with a little oil and if it makes it higher your rings are not set yet.
