Condensation in Alpha 1?

Hi everybody, long time no see. Might as well start off with a question.<br /><br />When I winterized my Regal back in Nov., I pulled the drain plug on the sterndrive to check for any water intrusion and there was none. I had let the boat set for about a week so any water would seperate from the lube. Saturday when I went over her to prepair for next week's first trip to the lake, I pulled the drain plug again and much to my surprise about a half a cup of water drained out. I then drained out a couple of quarts of lube to make sure I got all the water out.<br /><br />This is the first year that I ever drained ANY water out of the sterndrive and was wondering if this is normal. TIA

hello<br /> no its not normal<br /> there is a leak someplace.<br /> that would be a lot of condensation. <br /> did you remove the drive for its yearly maint as well?<br /> you have a leak someplace or the replacement oil was contaminated.<br /> good luck and keep posting
