Condensation inside aluminum hull a problem?

I have a 20' center console aluminum welded boat with a floor and front/rear decks. I am noticing lots of condensation up under the decks when I open one of my hatches (to get at batteries or stowed gear). The hatches are far from waterproof but probably keep a vapor barrier enough that mosture collects and lots of condensation forms. It is helping non-stainless steel components corrode such as parts on my water separator, etc. I'm wondering if this is something to avoid and if fiberglass hulls do the same thing?

You should find a way to vent and let the moisture out. When it comes to moisture"less is better".I get moisture build up in the lower section of my Mako but it is a sealed section of the boat so I expect it.I open the inspection port when I know rain is not in the forcast.Charlie
