I'm rewiring an old houseboat and I just want to confirm I have my grounding situation correct....

For AC (shore power only...no inverter or generator at the moment) I have all the grounds from my circuits and the ground from the shore power cord landing on a ground bar in the main panel. I am also running a ground from there to the engine block. I haven't re-wired the DC yet, but currently the battery negative and some other DC grounds all land on the engine block....so I assume I should bring my AC there as well. Sound good?

I am NOT bonding neutral to ground in the main panel. There is not supposed to be a N to G bond anywhere on the boat correct?

Thanks!

That's what I would do. Keep the neutral isolated from ground. It'll likely already be connected to ground at the shorepower distribution center's main switch. Beyond that keep 'em separated. - Grandad
