Confused with 50hsp 3cyl Mercury OB ?

Hi,

I have what I though might be a 1989 3cyl 50hsp mercury. I can't find the data plate with the numbers on it to make sure... where should the numbers be?
Yesterday I pulled the lower unit to change the pump, and it has a high pressure pump with the older style drive shaft (pre load pin). If it helps, the stripes are grey (on the cowl). My seloc manual isn't much help (more confusing) with identification.

found some info that might suggest it's an 85-87... they seem to have the high pressure water pump. Any one know for sure?
