Looking up the ID for a new-to-me E75 motor seems to indicate this is a 1984 75hp Tiller with a 20" long shaft. The ID in link title is what is on the mounting bracket. Confusion is this is not a Tiller motor. It is electric start with tilt/trim and a steering wheel control on a 14' Grew runabout. Not sure what the 'D' means. Shouldn't the code be E75EPCRD to indicate Electric Start and Power Trim & Tilt? I will be looking for electrical wiring diagrams and want to have the correct model ID. Not sure what I should be looking for. Any help will be muchly appreciated.

T----Is for trim / tilt.----And I do not believe the 75 HP model was ever offered with a tiller.

Thanks for the Welcome jimmbo. Oh dopey me. I was in a rush and was reading the first ID chart I saw from a google search (from continuousWave) incorrectly. I was looking at their chart that pointed to the 'L' after the 75 T and the options under the 'L' , ('T') is for 'Tiller Steering'. There was no options list for the first letter after the E75 ('T' in my case). I checked a different chart (from Marine Engine) and there is an options list under the 'T' and do see this is indeed a tilt/trim electric start engine. Huh. Who wudduh thunk that you could possibly get incorrect info from a google search?? Now onto my next issue --> engine cranks, no start. Will discuss under a different thread after I do some basic electrical checks.

This case is CLOSED.
