Considering buying a Glastron, unsure of model

There is a Glastron for sale near me with a blown engine (main bearings are blown). The guy only wants $500 for it, but I have no idea what year it is, or which model it is.

I do know that it came with a 4 cylinder 3.0 Mercruiser, it's fiberglass, has a cubby-cabin w/sunroof, and he says it's from the 1990's.

Could anyone shed some light on this boat? Any ideas how much it'd run me to find a used Mercruiser and install it?

Just called a few friends, they say it looks like a CX-19. Does that sound about right?

If so, would a CX-19 in fair condition, with a blown engine, be a wise decision @ $500?

I would say go and look at it since it is near you. take some pictures and post back here.. 500 bucks is about what it may be worth in parts..maybe more. if the hull stringers and floor are good then a rebuilt motor may not be a bad idea. take a look in the boat restore section of the board so you have some idea as to what your looking at.
