Hello, I Am Considering Purchasing An Older (probably Late 80's/early 90's) Tohatsu 25 Motor. I Don't Really Know Much About These Engines And Was Wondering If Anybody Could Help Enlighten Me About Them (are They Good Or Bad, Dependable, Easy To Find Parts For, Etc.) Any And All Help Is Greatly Appreciated. Thanks.

They are great engines, very dependable, don't know how much might have technically varied from 80 to 90 versions, better get correct manufacturing data to see spare parts availability. Post again when you have the final answer. Or post crankcase right & left pics to have a look if still same actual model.

Happy Boating

Great engine, unfortunately some of the ignition parts are no longer available due to its age....Caveat emptor
