Contact paper???

5 years into this and I still know nothing. I have an '86 Imperial Sport Cruiser. They're gone; left me with this: Where can I find a contact paper like material, (black, textured, leather-like) that would replace the same as a wide stripe along the outside of the cabin? I've looked in the chain catalogs, no luck.

That's Upholstry Fabric........<br />Held on with Contact Cement..........

Thanks. Once replaced, have you any advice on preventing curling, shrinkage, or future replacement? I appreciate your experience, and obviously, need some help.
