Plywoody,<br /><br />I don't know if you remember the 17 UN resolutions that Sadam failed to meet. Do you remember Colin Powell begging for assistance from the world to remove this school yard bully. Do you remember how some countries looked to shake down our country for their "assistance" prior to the war. Do you remember President Bush asking Sadam to take exile to save his people from war? Do you remember the gas attack on his own people Sadam unleashed? Do you remember the piles of bodies and mass graves discovered after the invasion. Do you remember what Hitler did during his "occupation"? Do you remember the rape and murder videos found in Sadams palaces? Do you remember his "election" where he was the only person on the ballot? Do you know how much more money we spent prosecuting this war with "smart bombs" as opposed to saturation bombing with gravity bombs? How many troops have we lost by not rounding up the masses and interrogating them with a rubber hose? How many citizens had to die so the French and Russians could recoup their loans?<br /><br />Standing on the sidelines and playing holier than thou while we carried the water with the lives of our sons and daughters, and then wanting money for being a hinderance, makes them right? Ask yourself is the world a better place without sadam? I'll bet you a weeks pay the French don't think so. They are cowards and opportunists. Conquer and occupation, are you for real. To the victors go the spoils, not the spectators. In this case the victors are the Iraqi people.<br /><br />Terrorism is a plague on the world. We shouldn't have to ask for assistance. We shouldn't have to buy peoples participation on the war on terror. Why would a moral country allow it to exist period. As for being proven wrong you need to recheck your facts. The world knew what was going on in Iraq, and shame on them for letting thousands of people be killed for the sake of money. We could appeal to the United Nations but human rights are overseen by Lybia. Plywoody, there is no shame in doing the right thing and if being ostrocised by the French or the Russians makes you uneasy, you may need to look inside at what is the real cause.
