I need a control box for a 1971 60 hp Johnson. I've been looking all over the internet for a few days without any luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for trying! I thought maybe some of Y'all would know of some places the check that I was unaware of. I'll keep checking and hopefully one will show up soon.

Keep your eye on Ebay or go to http://www.laniermarine.net they might have something for you. Another website to check out is www.cheapoldboats.com, you may half to call them also I don't recall seeing an email addy. I believe they are in Oklahoma. I might be calling them myself for a different shift box.

Re: Control Box for Hydro-Electric Shift

I'm still looking. I found one but it's nearly $300 & it's nearly 40 years old. Is that what I should expect to pay or can I find a better deal?
Thanks

I live down the road from Lanier Marine and they usually have every odd piece of equipment you'd ever need...

I used to get all of my OMC Stringer parts from them.

A little high $$, but for hard to find parts... Worth it!

Good luck!

I saw that one but it does'nt look like it has the wiring harness. Seller states that it has wires ready to plug in but is sure does'nt look like the wiring harness I need.
Thanks for the heads-up.
