I have a 1998 Glastron SE 195. I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the control Box. Anyone with knowledge of this guy?

i believe that style has a set screw on the bottom of the handle. put the handle in FWD full throttle and see

i cant recall exactly how the throttle only button removes, may just pop right out with a screwdriver or come out with the handle after the set screw is loose

once you get the handle off the rest should be pretty straightforward

This is correct. You have to look from the bottom. And you may have to move the throttle forward to access it.

These controls are a PITA. They are actually an OMC control so if you change to a Volvo style control, you will have to change both the throttle and shift cable.

For the throttle only button, you peel off the rubber and there is a philips screw to hold on the white knob.

Thank you. I will give it a shot

The black plastic plate aft of the pivot point pops off and reveals mounting screws. The forward screw is accessed by moving the shifter to reverse I recall.
