Hello All , Ive just purchased a 1994 120 johnson OB. My first question is.... will my existing control box be compatible with the 120 motor ? Dont know what year the control box is ....it is silver gray in colour and did work with my 1983 115 evinrude which just lost a cylinder. thks ........Leo

the main thing is do the connector plugs match, and do they have trim & tilt. if the connectors match 99% yes. there is an adapter harness from the big red plug to the new ones, but quite expensive. i'd rather go new than the adapter.
