My cabling is long past overdue to be replaced, it works, but cracking in many places.<br /><br />I need to replace the steering cabling.<br /><br />It is a suzuki engine.<br /><br />Should I take the cabling off 1st then measure?<br /><br />Or measure with the cabling in place?<br /><br />I am mechanically inclined <br /><br />Any other tips?<br /><br />Thnks<br /><br />Tomatolord

If your cable needs replacing, you might as well take it off and measure it that way, as you will have to take it out anyway....<br /><br />Many seller websites also have instructions on how to measure for correct cable lenght - maybe check out Teleflex site.

Every steering cable I've Ever seen has the Length,+ Part # printed on it, Somewhere along it's length...........
