Controlling two outboard from 1 control

Guys my boat has OMG inboard and Mercury 9.8 kicker.inboard has power steering but kicker is manual.it is kind of hard to troll by manually holding the shaft.is there any way to control the kicker from front.if not is it possible i can install another small steering and control steering,speed,gear from front so i dont have to manully hold shaft for hours when trolling in big lake.let me know.thank you

It's hard to do anything while holding a shaft, or was it holding a....

Anyway I think you mean the tiller handle.

They make a rod like device that connects both motors together so that when the main steering wheel is turned the other motor just follows along.

I guess if you have, and need the power steering, you would need to run the main motor too.

It's also perhaps possible to use a twin motor controller, or a second separate controller to maintain trolling speed and gear selection independent from your main engine.

I think a common choice might be the rod to connect the two motors, along with a small servo driven remote throttle for the kicker. Then if needed to pop it into or out of gear you just get up and do it.
