controls for an '83 Merc

I have an '83 Caddo that came with out a motor but it has all the controls still on it. It used to have a 50 hp Mercury on it I assume it was around the same year. Could anyone tell me if these controls are good for any other Mercs. Or are they only good for that particular motor!!!

The mechanical part,(throtle and shift cables) should work for any Merc/Mariner motor. How ever the electrical plug/loom may be different.

Hi water<br />What would you like to know? We have to know what you are trying to hook up. We would need model#s of both motors.
