controls question

i just got a set of controls with a motor i purchased and they were made for a center console boat and mine is side console. what can i do. i am handy would i be able to build a box and rotate the controls. it has tilt so i want to keep it.

You would be a lot farther ahead to buy a used set of side mount controls.
