I put my 1976 9.9hp johnson on my my upgraded boat as a kicker trolling motor. I connected it to the 50 hp mercury for steering but I would like to controll the throttle and shifter from the console as well. I can get cables and probably find a 2 lever remote to mount up by the console. ......
but where can I get parts and instructions for connecting the 2 cables to the outboard!!!! So many sites but not sure what they would be called or what I am looking for.

I am pretty smart and could probably just Jimmy rig something but would rather get the proper parts that mount to the motor. It even looks like there is existing bolt holes for this coversion by the shifter level on the motor. This winter I may check some salvage yards I guess....
