hi....welcome to i boats.
it is your boat......you can do what ever you want to it.
dont let any one talk you out of it either.
there are no structural issues to be aware of.....no listing issues as long as the weights are silmelar.
if you want a project that is a good short one...a bout a month and you still get to use your boat while you are doing it.
if you dont know any thing about fiberglassing or dont know where to start to learn.

it has everything you need to know and more.
