the motor is throwing lots of water out of the back of the motor, but the telltail is only dribbling and sometimes stops completely.What's ther problem; how do you fix it; and will t hurt the motor to run it like that?
thanks for the info but i'm a little confused by your mention of a wter pump. i didn't know there was a water pump on this motor;are you talking about an impeller ?
The impeller is the primary rotating component of the water pump assy.Also remove and inspect or replace your engines thermostat.They get crudded up after a couple of seasons use and don't open and close fully.
