Hello guys , I'm back after a long cold winter (couldnt get back on in my old name skippy D so i had to register again ) . got the boat painted & the interior done last year . got the motor 90% done (1962 500 50hp mercury outboard serial # 1519547) when i put it away for the winter i had just replaced the impellar & gaskets put the lower end back in place , but i didn't line up the water tube to the block correctly .so when i drop the lower end this weekend and start putting everything back together i want to make sure the whole cooling system has no obstructions . I've been looking through the manuals & on line to find out about thermostats on tis motor . I'm 90% sure it doesn't have any but if anybody could tell me for sure i would appreciate it .

thanx in advance ,skippy
