Cooling systems

I'm confused.<br />I looked at a couple of boats this past week. One guy told me his boat had an anti-freeze cooling system, the other told me his boat was fresh water cooling. <br /><br />Could someone please let me know if this is the same thing?<br />Thanks a bunch!<br />Ana

Yes they are the same .There is a fresh water cooled system that had antifreeze in the block with a heat exchanger to cool it.And there is a raw water cooled system that circulates the water that you are boating in through the system as well as the block. Charlie
