cork float

I Have a 1968, 9.5 hp johnson. Does anyone have a lead on an ethanol proof float to replace the original shellac covered cork ? Thanks

even the new carb kits come with a cork float, I don't know of any plastic replacements.

Some have got the new cork floats and then coated them with some fuel resistant epoxy for radio controlled cars..and has been working good for them....

search here and see what brand it is....

worth a try if you can't get a plastic one....

Thanks . I've heard that super glue has been working as acoating . I'll give it a try.......31trojan

I made this replacement from a 70hp evinrude float. It was easy to reshape.
