Correct Coil?

Trying to determine which is the correct coil for 1976 55HP evinrude.<br />The ones I have appear to be the same as for a 76 35 horsepower and the only option with the Sierra coils is for 78 and up 55 horsepower and the coil looks unlike what is on my engine now.

The factory part number is 581862. I believe the Sierra replacement is 18-5176? It looks totally different, but mounts with the existing holes and hardware. Have a look here... Johnson Coil

I'm seeing the correct coil is #502886. This was superseeded form part #0581609. ishopmarine has them for $32.00...Or the CDI coil for $28.00....<br /><br />ishopmarine.com/ishop/jsp/AsplIsmHomeCcat.jsp?reqFor=29
