I found a crack/leak in the section of fuel hose that runs from the fuel pump (T) to the top carb. I'm going to go ahead and replace all the fuel hoses from the fuel fittng to the filter/pump and to both carbs but I want to make sure I get the right hoses. My OEM manual does not say anything about the type or size of the hose and I bought my motor used and have no idea if the last person who replaced the hoses put the right type on there so I don't necessarily want to go by the old hoses. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to buy? The motor is a 1979 100hp Johnson. Thanks!

Re: correct fuel hose

Theres a couple of parts sites, that have diagrams, that show the parts and their numbers.

I think one is marine engine .com, not sure.

Its ishop marine .com, click on the parts list , enter you motor year , model, etc.

Then you can see the parts and their numbers.

You can probably buy them here after you get the numbers.

I'd get a new "T", while your at it.

They're easy to break , trying to remove old hoses.

Just take a section to your local parts store. They should have the right hose for fuel applications. I used Advanced.

Re: correct fuel hose

well I did finally see in my manual that the hoses are shown in the exploded view...there is actually a foot note beside the hoses stating not to substitute with another part. Thanks KYHunter2, I did find those parts.
