Correct Pole setting for a 1995 Tracker 90 HP?

Hi, Looking for the correct pole setting for the tach on a 1995 Tracker 90 horse 2 stroke, 3 cylinder serial #: 0G242454. Looks to be the stock gauge. It's currently in the "6P" position.

Saw that. Thanks. I have to confess I'm having a bit of trouble interpreting it , hence the post .I'm inclined to believe that the 6P setting was how it was set at the factory. The chart you refer to seems a bit cryptic on that. It says: "8, 9.9 (Before 1999 and after 2005) & 50H (4 stroke)" are set at 6P. But I can't tell if that refers to my motor or not.

OK, finally called the Mercury folks. It's 6P alright but. I still can't figure out what that chart is saying!
