I am getting a bit confused and need your help. Raw water pump bearing is shot on this motor. I can't get the correct serrial number ( worn off). Original Volvo pump is almost $400. The john son replacement is $140.
The salesperson said the Johnson height is 4.75" and the Volvo is 3.5" tall. I measured it and it is 4.00".
Can anyone tell me why I could not use the replacement Johnson???
