hi, i sure do want an oem service manual for my boat. 72 mercrusier 165, I drive. <br />thought i had it narrowed down. but don't. i called mercrusier up, they were helpful. told me i needed C-90-68648, that one manual covers my stuff. ok, so i get that off ebay, C-90-68648 vol 1. mighty hip. but it don't have section 6-9 in it, 
. not what i understood from merc. oh well, so i need C-90-68648 vol 2 also, & am still looking for it. now for the question. this items on ebay for a 73, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4538780084&sspagename=ADME:B:WN:MT:1 it don't have a vol. # ontoit, nor a part #. i asked that question the seller. is this the manual that mercruiser was talking of. merc told me initally they had one servie manual to cover both engine and drive. then changed it to the two manual sys. all i want is a manual that sets me straight to my systems. i got the clymers, but want more,,,,,
