I have a fishfinder, used it all last year, but always kicked up an aweful rooster tail. this year I have rebuilt carbs and a tune up on the motor and she runs alot faster than she did. On our first splash this year I ended up disconnecting the transducer for the day. Now I need to figure out the proper placement.

Where is a good starting point?

Re: Correct transducer placement

try placing the transducer 1/8 in. below the hull
