Corsa Exhaust Quote?

Hi Guys;

Just got a quote back from Marine Parts Finders for: pair of Corsa side exit diverters, wiring harness, side exit tips, pipes and clamps. Apperntly there is a kit for this application.

$2649.00 Corsa kit
$ 230.00 Shipping and brokerage
$ 143.00 GST[/U]
$3022.95

Does this seem reasonable to you guys. Another company name on the quote was MarineExhaust.com.

That quote was about twice what I was expecting. Is there a cheaper way to get this exhaust system?.....

That seems excessive. Did you try contacting Corsa directly for a price?
If you can live with it, a standard thru-hull exhaust (no diverters) would be a lot less expensive.
Another option- check ebay or CL for a used setup. I see 'em from time to time.

I thought I was emailing Corsa, but these guys must have hi-jacked me some how. I will try them again, but more carefully. Also, Manitoba, Canada, thru the hull exhaust is illegal....

If you check out friscoboater's thread in the restoration section, he actually installs the exact system in his sea ray, with the side exit setup. I believe he said he spent about $1800 shipped. $3000 sounds high.

a line in this ad (london, ON) says "Custom thru-hull Corsa exhaust which sounds amazing ($1050)"
might drop the seller a line to see where he shopped.
