I have a 1985 140hp Looper.
I accidentally left the ignition switched on for about 3 weeks (since I last used the boat) Obviously the battery is flat as a pancake and is currently being trickle charged back to life (hopefully) Other than the battery possibly needing to be replaced and more importantly, could I have caused any damage to the motor's electrical system ??
I will be getting the muffs and hose out before dark tonight to see if it starts but till then does anyone have any comments other than "why did you not put this in the stupid tricks section"
Thanks to all responses,
Ken.
