I had put in a post earlier this week about my boat will run fine until it just starts to plane off (about4200RPM's)It will then rev like its in neutral. When it first happened, I noticed that the Flanged portion on the back of my prop was missing. I didnt think it would cause this but a few people I have talked to think it will. Any of you with a similar experience??
Oh, I have already changed the prop hub.

Hmm? Some props are designed without it.

Go check the free book on www.dorthe.homepage.dk, page 11 (site page link #18).

The flange prevents exhaust from being drawn to the blades which may cause ventilation.
