counter rotating Mariner engine question??

Can a counter rotating engine be run as a single outboard? Will it work the same? I imagine the only difference is that the prop is curved the opposite? Is that correct?

Sure. The boat just torques the opposite way. No big deal. Ran a left hand motor for years. You can get good deals on LH props.
