counter rotation

does the velvet drive make it counter rotating? or does the engine itself make it counter rotating? i know on outboards its the gearbox.

The Velvetdrive can go either way.

so is it actually the engine that turns the other way? or does the velvet drive make the unit as a whole CR?

Depends on YOUR engine. Is it CR or not??? If it's standard rotation, then the transmission is setup for the CR of the prop. IF your engine is a CR engine, then the drive would be in the normal rotation.
You have to determine what you have.

so you can use two standard rotatoion engines and make one CR by changing the tranny?
