First off I just bought a boat a 1980 seaswirl w/ omc 140 h.p. Doing a model number search I have come up with it being a OMC Stringer 140 Model# 981871.<br /> Now the boat is sitting too forward on the trailer wich meant when I lowered the trim it hit the rubber roller on rear of trailer. Could this have caused any damage? Once i saw the motor shift a little I stopped. Also while resting on this rubber roller (not knowing) I attempted to turn the steering wheel wich was hard to turn due to the fact it was hitting the trailer roller. I realized something was wrong so I went to rear of boat and saw what looked to me like some power steering fluid had leaked out. Now i assume since it was jammed up on the trailer it may have forced some fluid out. I raised the trim off the rubber roller on the trailer and wiped off the red fluid and turned the wheel back and forth and saw no more fluid leak. Shuold it be okay? Also any tips on this stern drive would be appreciated.
