Covered bow rider water entry during rain

I have a 2000 Rinker Captiva bow rider that's getting some water in the ski locker during rain.

I have a whole boat cover, just water proofed, that snaps at the edges so it can't be window seals. The only exposed parts that it could possibly enter would be the bow cleat, light, horn or rub rail. I sealed the horn so I don't think that's it. It seems like too much water to be coming from bow cleat or the light.

There's no wet spots on the carpet, I don't think the light or cleat even if they leaked would allow as much water in as I'm seeing. Only thing with enough foot print would be the rub rail somehow. Is water entry through rub rail possible?

Thanks

Possible, yes.

Are you sure it's only happening while it's raining on the trailer? (Not happening while the boat is floatin'?)

Yes, it's been on my driveway last few weeks and it's getting rain water in the ski locker from overnight rains. It must be coming from some large section to account for the amount of it pooling.

Water can be tricky. Many times I was wearing a hat and sunglasses, while in a boat cruising, with a navy top snaped tot eh windshield. Water was able to get between the navy top and the windshield, miss the hat and go around the sunglasses into my eyes.

Here in Tennessee, this idea would be hotter'n Satan's armpit. So judge carefully how it would work where you are. Don't need to put anyone in danger of heat stroke:

Put the cover on with someone inside the boat. Hook the sprayer on the garden hose and shoot away ... see if you can see water coming in. Vary the pressure, and maybe even the the ladder out to hit it from some different angles.

Hmm didn't think of that to test the rails, that's how I found horn leak which had no gasket.

Usual source is running down off cover and in at base of windscreen centre opening. Onto floor and onto locker. Happens on 99% of all bowrider I’ve ever known. Well tested here in Scotland 😂
