I've just aquired a late 70's Valco with rivets, did a water test whereby filling with water just above waaterline with garden hose, No major leaks but was wondering would going over the lower area with a couple of cans of that "Herco-Liner" better prolong the life without leakage.? Will Herco-Liner adhere on the outside as well as inside.?

Re: covering rivets

Bedliner becomes brittle and breaks/chips off over time. If you want to seal the inside seams/rivets, use Gluvit instead. Anything thicker than paint on the outside of the hull will cause drag and decrease performance on the water.
