A sad day but better than doing in the rain :)

This frame has held up well to snow and the trailer cover lets the boat breath and stay dry

All my old stuff for chafeing

It needs a few more short lines to spread out the load but thats about it

Yes, today was the day...... PVC, tarp and my Son's help. These were the "in progress" shots. My 14' starcraft aluminum is already flipped upside down at the other end of the property. Oh well.........

I do have my winter projects planned.... the powerhead to my outboard is off the engine......

Since the season has ended ............ I fired up the hot tub which the cat has already claimed as his warm spot!

:( me too. though i didn't get a full winterization done. washed the nasty missouri river off it, cleaned out the inside. stabiled it and topped it off and ran to operatin temp. drained block, manifold and riser, droped lower hose... it's gonna freeze here too in a couple of nights, maybe even snow i see now in the revised weathers forcast. gotta get some lubs on monday. got my cover ontoit like i want it too.....:(

It was 29 this morning and we have been getting hard frosts about 3-4 times a week. Yup, boat is done and also went on and did the winter get ready maintenance for my truck too (oil, filters, winter wipers, ice melter for the washer fluid).

Re: Covering Up For The Winter

Same weekend at my place. I got the new shocks on the pickup, got both trucks cleaned inside and out, and found the snow scrapers. Snow here on Thursday they're saying. I got the boat all set too, but I have half the work of most since it's stored inside the heated (40 degrees unless I'm working out there) garage.

I missed most of this season but I have plenty of plans for next year. The first time out this year involved open water on the river with snow on the banks. When it gets that warm next spring I'll be ready.

I actually added a 2nd tarp over the other one. I could not find a quality heavy tarp (did not want to wait for a delivery) so now my boat is double tarped.
