Have you looked on Ebay, there are quite a few cowls on there, I just saw a '77 35 Johnson cowl that all you would have to do is change the stickers on to Evinrude and the repro stickers are easy to find on there as well.
Does anybody know if the cowl for mid 70’s evinrude and Johnson are interchangeable. I have found a mid 70’s 25 hp Johnson and I need a mid 70’s 35 evinrude. The part numbers are close( wishful thinking) ....manual start.
Check them out on E-bay. There are several to choose from on there. Saw a few Johnson cowls from 1977 on there that may fit as well. There are a couple Evinrude cowls from a 35 H.P that do not have the year listed, but they look like the mid 70:s colors and styles and you could contact the sellers to find out. Just go to E-bay and type in Evinrude outboard motor cowls and you will see a few pages of them.
I posted yesterday on your other thread that there is a 74 Johnson cowl on ebay right now and it will fit your Evinrude. Many of the OMC cowls back then were the same with the exception of the decal package
The 1977 and later 25hp cowls will likely be the same as the 35s, though an Electric model cowl won't fit on a rope start. The pre 77 25hp were are different engine altogether, and the cowls may be slightly different
