crab claw anchors

anyone ever used one of these guys ............im maybe interested in getting one but cant seem to find one online.........a couple of places advertise them but you cant pull up on there website so any info on finding one or how well they work would be appreciated ..also i would be using this in river most of the time so heavy current with gravel, limestone bottom is where it will be needed.......only thing i have found that will hold now are two huge cinderblocks and im tired of lifting them .........oh this will be used with a minnkota deckhand 40

I'm not sure what you're calling a crab claw anchor, is it a fluke style anchor with the two wings that dig into the sand, gravel, rocks, etc.? If so you can get those at any of the sporting goods stores or Walmart. The bad thing about those is sometimes they get stuck under a rock or something and you can't get them to come free.
I fish and run the rivers also and know what you mean about the current.

I had never seen those before, but it looks pretty good. I found them on BoatersWorld.com. Looks like they would hold pretty good in the current and not get hung up to bad either.
