I have a 1.5" long crack in the gas tank. The tank is aluminum. Does anyone know what will adhere well and be fuel proof?

Thank you for your help,

Sounds like it needs welding or brazing.

So there's nothing out there say, similar to epoxy that could mend it?

Marine Tex or one of the similar epoxy based materials.

I used an epoxy from the marine store. So far it works. The engine runs great.

Thank you,
