crack in exhaust bridge

Ihave a 1979 75 hp evanrude that bent the top ring and chiped the piston and scored the cylinder I also see a 1\8 inch crack in the ehhaust bridge in #1 cylinder can I have this cylinder sleeved if so who can do it. The other two cylinders are within 1000th of 3inch

Hey Gary...are you talking about the partion between exhaust holes in the cylinder? If so, is the crack just in the sleeve or is the aluminum cracked also. My 86' 90hp Rude has a crack in the sleeve in the above place. Chamfered it so the rings won't catch. Been running for a year or so. No problem. If the aluminum is cracked, my be best to have it sleeved. Ash your local dealer about resleeving. They may be able to put on to someone local.
