After overheating my V8 350 both cilinder heads are cracked. I see no visible cracks on the block or cilinder liners. Should I just buy 2 new heads and hope for the best or is there a big risk of a damaged block or melted piston rings?
I would be more inclined to simply buy a new engine - the SB 350 Marine remans can be had for about $1,200 delivered and you simply swap your tin (cover, oild pan, etc), carb, alt and waterpump over.
