Cracks in new Roughneck boats?

I have a boat made by Lowe but rebranded for their sister company Crestliner. It is the exact same boat as the Roughneck 2070. Mine is a 2004 model and developed cracks in the welds and stringers all up under the deck and floor where you can't see them. I noticed them when my interior floor rivets starting popping loose. I think one key hull or rib support must have failed which led to extra forces on other areas taking the load. Just curious if others have had this problem. Crestliner has taken the boat back to the factory twice (the first time they missed a lot of cracks and/or did some terrible welding). It is disconcerting because you can't keep an eye on this problem and who wants to be far, far away from shore and wondering if your boatis falling apart underneath your feet?

Thanks for the post; I was just looking at one of the welded Lowe's last week. At face value it seemed like a good buy, more bang for the buck than a comparable Tracker. I was a little hesitant because they have only been selling the welded boats for three years now. Keep us posted.

Not much else to say.

I saw cracks in welds.
I sent pics to factory.
Factory accepts boat back for repairs.
I go without boat for several months.
Boat comes back with most cracks still unfixed and even a couple cracks in welds they fixed while they had it. Doesn't make sense.
I send more pics to factory again.
Factory accepts boat back for repairs.
I go without use of boat even longer.
My winter and spring fishing season goes by with no boat. Lots of engine warranty time expires with boat unusable.
I get lots of home painting and cleaning done.
Still waiting on boat.

Hello! I have the lowe 1960 model all welded and it is holding up fine so far... But my friend bought the same exact boat as me and he has had to have his rewelded allready too. good luck on the rewelds holding.
