"crankcase fluid" for a 2 stroke? What the heck is this?

This is a good solid motor, perfect for a dependable trolling motor or for a main engine on a smaller boat

Model: Yamaha 15ELF = Electric start (or pull start) . Brand new propeller / Brand new Impeller

Fresh crankcase fluid

I will include new battery / 6 gallon tank and Yamaha hose

This motor runs like a sewing machine and will outlast you and me and everyone we know

Am I missing something? I'm shopping for a kicker and came across this. Did these motors come with oil injection and he put crankcase oil into the reservoir? Did he put crankcase oil into the gearcase?

I'm guessing he meant lower unit oil.
